Answer key

  1. Je ne sais pas la réponse.

    Ne avant le verbe, pas après. Le verbe reste au milieu.

  2. Elle habite à Lyon depuis deux ans.

    Avec elle, un verbe en -er finit par -e.

  3. Nous prenons le petit déjeuner à huit heures.

    Avec nous, le verbe finit presque toujours par -ons.

  4. Ils ne ont pas de voiture.

    Avoir avec ils donne ont. La négation entoure le verbe.

  5. Tu bois du café le matin.

    Avec tu, beaucoup de verbes finissent par -s.

  6. Je ne vais pas très bien aujourd'hui.

    Aller avec je donne vais.

  7. Vous parlez français très bien.

    Avec vous, le verbe finit par -ez.

  8. Ce train ne va pas à Marseille.

    Avec il ou ce train, aller donne va.

Are these grammar worksheets really free?

Yes. The A1 worksheet for every language is free on this site, both to practise online and to download as a PDF, with no account and no email. You may print them for a class.

Where are the A2, B1 and higher worksheets?

In the oqou app, one worksheet per CEFR level per language, as part of Pro. A1 is free here on the web and part of Pro in the app, which is a deliberate exception rather than an oversight.

Can I use these with my students?

Yes. Print the PDF, hand it out, keep the answer key. A link back to this page is appreciated but not required.
