Is this reading comprehension test really free?
Yes. Every story and every question on this page is free to use, with no account and no email. The oqou app adds tests on your own books and articles.
What level are the stories?
A1 and A2, the first two CEFR levels. They are written for beginners, with short sentences and everyday vocabulary, so the test measures understanding rather than vocabulary size.
Are the questions in English or in the language I am learning?
In the language you are reading. Answering a question about a Spanish story in Spanish is part of the exercise, and at A1 the questions are kept deliberately simple.
