Why read Italian this way
Italian gives beginners a false sense of progress: the words look familiar to anyone with English or Spanish, so you can recognise most of a page and still not know what happened. A comprehension check is the fastest way to find out which of the two is true for you, and these take about five minutes.

Questions about the test
Are the questions in Italian or in English?
In Italian, using the story's own words. At A1 they stay short and factual, so if you followed the story you can answer them.
How long does one test take?
About five minutes. The stories are two to five minutes of reading and there are four questions, answered one at a time with immediate feedback.
