Hangul takes an afternoon; reading Korean takes considerably longer, and the gap between them is where most learners stall. These stories stay in the polite 해요 style with everyday particles, so the sentence patterns repeat often enough to become familiar rather than decoded. Are the questions in Korean?
Yes, in Korean, using the story's own vocabulary and the same polite style as the stories.
Is this useful if I am studying for TOPIK?
It is not TOPIK preparation and does not follow its format. It is A1 to A2 reading comprehension, which is the level underneath TOPIK I, and the habit of following a whole text is what those papers assume.
