Why read Turkish this way
Graded Turkish reading barely exists. Learners tend to jump from textbook dialogues straight to native news, which is a cliff, and comprehension material for beginners is close to nonexistent outside paid courses. These stories are written at A1 and A2 with the agglutinative endings kept regular, so you meet the same suffixes often enough to stop unpicking each one.

Yes. They use the story's own vocabulary and stay short at A1, so following the story is enough to answer them.
Why is there so little Turkish reading practice at this level?
Turkish has far fewer graded readers than the major European languages, so most free material is either textbook dialogue or native text. These stories are written for the gap between the two.
